Once more time for the people in the back, I JUST MOVED TO FRANCE. I use the word ‘just’ a little dramatically for I moved here almost two months ago now, but it still feels as insane now as it did then.
I’ve made a few big changes in the past two months and it’s always hard to know how those decisions will play out when you’re in the midst of them, but I’m trying my hardest to live and let live and enjoy each and every day as they come. So I guess part of the reason this first post comes so late is because on every day off I decide instead of staying in to write about the adventures I’ve been on, I’ll go out and make more. The other (and main) reason is because I’m lazy and I’m my own worst writing critic.
I can’t believe that I’m here and I can’t believe how at home ‘here’ feels. I stick out like a sore thumb as I begin most of my sentences with ‘Uh…’, before attempting some tragique french in my Australian accent, but nevertheless, I have the strongest sense of déjà-vu every time I’m in the city of love.
My Parisienne adventures so far consist of visiting the Arc de Triomphe & Champs-Élysées, Musée d’Orsay, Notre-Dame Cathedral & Shakesphere and Co, Sacré Cœur & Montmartre and numerous trips to admire the Eiffel Tower.
Please enjoy my attempts at being a photographer.
A bientôt, avec amour ❤
